Driver airlifted to trauma centre with critical injuries after crash in Oro-Medonte

A driver was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre after a two-vehicle collision in Oro-Medonte Friday afternoon.

Orillia OPP say the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Old Barrie Road at Line 14.

Police say one driver was sent to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Old Barrie Road from Line 15 to Line 13 and Line 14 to Highway 11 were closed for an investigation but were reopened late Friday evening.
