Driver charged with 'insecure load': South Simcoe police

Unsecure load

A 28-year-old man is up on charges after South Simcoe police say he was driving with an "insecure load."

Around noon today, police say they spotted a slow-moving vehicle on County Road 89 by Highway 400 in Innisfil with flashing hazard lights on.

"A vehicle stop was conducted and the vehicle was found to be loaded with several long lengths of composite decking which was not secured by any means and was obstructing the view of the driver," officers said in a release.

The Woodbridge man was charged with:

  • Insecure load
  • Driver no clear view to sides
