Dumb and dumber were on display for South Simcoe Police.

"On Friday, September 1, 2023, at 10:45 a.m., an officer conducting speed enforcement on Yonge Street in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury observed a motorcycle travelling southbound at a high rate of speed. Police obtained a speed measurement of 152 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. A traffic stop was conducted," police said in a news release on Friday.

A 24-year-old novice driver from Ajax was charged with stunt driving, speeding and novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) above zero.

In addition to the 30-day driver's licence suspension and his motorcycle being impounded for 14 days, the man was issued a three day BAC suspension.

The motorcyclist called a friend to come get him. Police say when that driver arrived at the scene, he was arrested for impaired-driving.

A 24-year-old Innisfil man was charged with impaired driving offences, his licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Police did not say how either guy got themselves home.
