Highway 400 north approaching the split at 11 was a traffic nightmare following dump truck rollover

Driver extricated from vehicle

Nothing was moving at the limit on Highway 400 northbound near the split with Highway 11.

A dump truck rolled over underneath the bridge at Highway 400 around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Both lanes of the exit ramp from the 400 to Highway 11 were closed as firefighters extricated the driver from the vehicle. The individual was transported to hospital by paramedics with undetermined injuries.

One lane eventually reopened but it wasn’t until 7 p.m. that the other lane and shoulder reopened as crews had to clean up debris including a fuel spill from the crash.
