A vehicle that police say was doing donuts on Collegiate Drive in Orillia on Thursday plowed into a light post knocking it over.
Around 11:30 a.m., officers were alerted about a vehicle that was "skidding around" in the area before hitting the post.
OPP say there were four occupants in the vehicle and pedestrians nearby at the time the collision occurred.
A 16-year-old from Orillia was charged with careless driving.
