Driver Sought After Child Struck In North Barrie

Driver Urged To Contact Investigators

Police are looking for the driver of a white Chrysler 300 with possible front passenger side damage, after a young boy was struck while riding his bike in Barrie.

It happened on Agnes St. near Bayfield and the 400, around 1:00 Sunday afternoon; A 9-year-old boy was riding his bike when nearby residential cameras show a vehicle traveling the same direction, knocking the boy to the ground from behind.

Police say the driver got out for a moment, but drove off at a high rate of speed. He is described as a tanned man with a heavy build, and short black curly hair. Police are urging the driver to contact investigators.
