Police boxed in vehicle
Eagle-eyed police officers were patrolling the West Ridge area of Orillia on Friday afternoon when they spotted a vehicle driven by a person who was known to be wanted. An attempt to stop the driver was made but the motorist kept going. After a short distance, the vehicle was boxed in and the driver and passenger were arrested.

Ontario Provincial Police said they seized a quantity of fentanyl, MDMA, marijuana, Canadian currency, a taser, and a “butterfly” knife.
A 31-year-old Orillia woman and a 43-year-old Toronto man face 23 charges.
