Police have charged three people in connection with a drug trafficking investigation they say got started when numerous complaints were received about an address in Wasaga Beach.

After several weeks of investigation, police said they were able to identify the occupants of the home suspected of selling cocaine and fentanyl.

A search warrant was executed by police at the residence last week resulting in the seizure of fentanyl, cash, two pellet guns, and paraphernalia related to drug trafficking.

"The three suspects were located inside the residence at the time of the execution," police said.

All of them were arrested and charged, then released with a future court date.
