
Two men from Innisfil have been charged following a drug investigation by South Simcoe Police (SSP) that started in the spring.
On July 24, police executed search warrants at two residential addresses in Innisfil and on one vehicle, with two more vehicles pending as part of the investigation.
Police say they seized various packages of suspected cocaine/crack cocaine (7 ounces), various packages of red, blue and brown fentanyl totalling half an ounce, more than three dozen oxycodone pills, nearly $11,000 in cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Also seized were several lawfully owned firearms, imitation firearms and weapons that have been seized, according to police, pending further investigation.
The suspects, ages 47 and 50, face drug-related charges. The 47-year-old is also charged with possession of proceeds of crime.
