Drunk Driving Charges Laid in Wasaga Beach First Thing Saturday Morning
20-year-old Woman Accused of Driving Under the Influence
A young lady from Wasaga Beach is being accused of keeping the party going until first thing in the morning.
The OPP say an officer was driving along River Rd. West in Wasaga around 8:00 Saturday morning, when it was overtaken in a 50 zone.
A quick traffic stop later, and police say it was clear the female driver was under the influence. Two breath tests back at the station house yielded samples of 186 and 188mg/100mL of blood. The legal limit for anyone 21 years of age or younger is zero milligrams per 100mL.
A 20-year-old woman will be in Collingwood court early next month.
