An Innisfil woman is waiting for her day in court after cops say they caught her with twice the legal limit of booze in her system.
South Simcoe Police got teh call to the 7th Line near 20th Sideroad of Innisfil just before midnight Sunday, with reports of an erratic driver. As police performed a traffic stop, it is claimed they could smell an odour of alcohol on the driver, while she demonstrated other signs of impairment.
The 25-year-old Innsfil woman was taken to the stationhouse for a sobriety test, which she allegedly failed. Her licence was suspended for 90 days, while her vehicle will stay in the impound lot for a week.
Meanwhile, South Simcoe Police say a Sunday call to a Bradford home resulted in assault-related charges against a 46-year-old man. It’s said he and his neighbour got in a heated dispute that resulted in the neighbour being attacked.
