The Great Easter Egg Hunt is returning to Downtown Collingwood this year.

Starting April 1, you can download your egg counting form at www.collingwooddowntown.com …. then head out and count the eggs the Easter Bunny has hidden in all the business windows throughout downtown Collingwood.

The eggs will be hidden in the windows throughout the Easter weekend so families are invited to come downtown anytime for the hunt.

Count as many as you can, but please leave any you find in the window for the next contestant! Prizes will be awarded to children in several age categories from under two up to 12.  There are lots of windows with eggs, but the little ones only have to find a few ... older children must find the eggs in up to 60 windows to qualify for the prizes.  Winners will be determined by the most correct answers – in the event of a tie, a draw will be made to determine the winner.

Bring along your parents for help, as accuracy counts!  Return the form for your chance to win a great prize.  Remember if you are participating as a family in the hunt, submit an entry form for each child.  Entries are due by April 7th, 2021 and can be emailed to sball@collingwooddowntown.com. You can also drop off completed forms at the Town Hall.

Don’t forget your camera so you can have your photo taken by the spring-themed selfie stations at the Town Hall (97 Hurontario Street) and the Federal Building (44 Hurontario Street).

While you’re visiting Downtown, drop into the shops as the new spring clothing, accessories and home decor fashions have arrived.  Check out and see what’s new; from Easter Bonnets to Easter dinner, the businesses and shops have everything you will need for this holiday and the rest of Spring. Everyone is open to serve you safely.

The patios are up and many of our restaurants and coffee shops are open for dining inside with reduced capacity.  Stay for a cup of tea or coffee or a great lunch or dinner.
