Eddie Vedders' giving his vocal cords some TLC after being damaged by the intense smoke in France and Spain.

Pearl Jam just played Lollapalooza in Paris on July 17, amid a scorching heat wave and fires.

Vedder suffered enough smoke damage that the band cancelled their show in Vienna, Austria, and it's unknown if any other shows will be called off.

On their Instagram, they explained Eddies condition.

"A combination of dust, heat, and smoke from the wildfires outside Paris have taken a toll on the band, including damaging Vedder's throat."

"This is brutal news and horrible timing…for everyone involved. … As a band, we are deeply sorry and have tried to find options to still play. And Ed wants to play. There's just no throat available at this time."
