Secondary Collision Pushed Vehicle into Victim

South Simcoe Police say the elderly man was struck by a vehicle in Bradford on December 30th succumbed to his injuries in Toronto hospital yesterday. The investigation continues.

Dec. 31st

An elderly man was rushed to hospital last night after being struck by a vehicle in Bradford.

It happened in the area of Holland St. and Deer Run Crescent around 7:00; the 81-year-old and another vehicle were involved in a minor crash, when a third vehicle struck the first two. It pushed the vehicle into the elderly man as he assessed the damage from the initial collision.

The victim’s injuries are said to be critical, the other drivers involved suffered only minor wounds.

No charges have been laid, while South Simcoe Police say the investigation continues
