
South Simcoe Police say a loss prevention employee was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance when he confronted two suspects who allegedly left the Walmart in Bradford without paying for items.
Police were alerted about the incident around 9:20 Sunday night.
According to their investigation, police say two suspects entered the store and used a shopping cart to select merchandise, and then forced the security gates open surrounding the checkout area without attempting to pay for the products.

When the loss prevention officer confronted the suspects, police say that's when he was sprayed in the face with an unknown substance. The two males fled in an unknown direction. The employee was treated for minor injuries at the scene by paramedics.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect 1: White male, early to mid-thirties, brown hair, thick brown eyebrows, and brown facial hair. He was wearing a grey Toronto Raptors hooded sweater, grey Roots sweatpants, and white Adidas shoes with three black stripes on them.
Suspect 2: White male, early to mid-thirties with light brown hair. He was wearing a white puffy dark-coloured winter jacket, a white Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat with a black brim, a white undershirt, black pants, and white shoes.
