Essa Fire Chief Cynthia Ross Tustin who has been chosen as the next Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs President. T
Ross Tustin is the first female President the association has had, and has been in the Barrie 360 newsroom many times advocating for better provincial legislation for firefighters as well as residential sprinkler systems.

She was appointed Chief of Essa fire back in 2013, and replaces past president, Huntsville Fire Chief Stephen Hernen. Ross Tustin had previously served as Vice President of the Association. The Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs represents 448 municipal fire services.
