
Nottawasaga OPP have charged an Essa man with drug offences following a bail violation.
Police say they began a probe on Monday around 4 p.m. after receiving a report that a man was trespassing at a Mill Street apartment complex in Angus and was currently in one of the units.
"Officers confirmed the conditions of the individual as a result of charges laid by Nottawasaga OPP back on March 12th, 2025, and located the male inside," police wrote in a release today.
"Upon arrest, officers conducted a search incident to arrest and located $689.20 in cash, suspected fentanyl and suspected crack cocaine on the individual."

A 50-year-old was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of anything for use in, production of/trafficking in Schedule I or Schedule III substance
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance
- Failure to comply with undertaking
He was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court.
