About Gutsy Walk
On Sunday, June 2, 2024, join the Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis community at the Simcoe County Gutsy Walk for a day of fun—all while raising awareness and raising funds to fulfill Crohn’s and Colitis Canada’s Promise: to cure Crohn’s and colitis and to improve the quality of life of everyone affected by these diseases.
What Your Support Means
Your fundraising efforts go directly to Crohn's and Colitis Canada, supporting:
Research: Breakthroughs happen with your contributions—just like the recent GEM Project finding!
Programs: From Crohn's and Colitis Connect, our peer support program, to providing educational information by vetted experts through the Gutsy Learning Series, Gutsy Walk is key to helping bring programs to life.
Advocacy: Whether it’s advocating for increased bathroom access through GoHere®, or simply shedding light on these invisible diseases, Gutsy Walk is a day to speak up about the realities of life with Crohn’s and colitis.
How to Get Involved
Register: Sign up, create your personal fundraising page, and set a goal!
Fundraise: Share your reason for walking, and encourage friends and family to support your cause, whether it’s by walking with you as part of a team or donating to your fundraiser, there’s lots of ways your community can share their support!
Walk: Join us on Sunday, June 2 for the Simcoe County Gutsy Walk! Raise awareness during the day by wearing your t-shirt proudly (tip: raise $150 to get this year’s exclusive tee!) and sharing your photos and videos on social media.
