October 1st is International Day of Older Persons and Canada’s National Seniors Day. On this day, our goal is to act Canada-wide on climate with actions that demonstrate our growing concern about the impacts of climate change and our desire to rebuild a healthy environment for future generations. There will be 72 locations participating across the country. Join us in the Barrie City Hall Rotunda at 2 pm for speeches, music and displays by environmental groups. The indoor event will end at 4 pm with a march to Meridian Place led by a bagpiper. Make some noise for the environment. Later is too Late!
