Fact: The Office finds a new home on January 1st

If Netflix is just your streaming tool to watch The Office (don't worry, it is for a lot of people), you're either going to have to find a new show or move to the United States.

On January 1st, The Office will be leaving Netflix and returning to NBC via its brand new streaming service, Peacock. The bad news is that Peacock is still not available in Canada and there are no plans (yet) to move it north.

As if to pour salt in the wound, there is also going to be a "superfan" cut of the series that includes extended and deleted scenes. "Having The Office back in the NBC family opens up access to a lot of extra content that we originally shot," said the creator of The Office, Greg Daniels. For now, only season 4 has this "superfan" cut but viewers can also choose to watch the original vanilla version of the show.

We have a feeling sales of The Office Blue-ray will be skyrocketing on January 1st. Maybe a gift idea for fans who only watch it on Netflix?
