Grab the Windex! My Big Fat Greek Wedding is pulling a hat trick.
The writer and star of the franchise Nia Vardalos, confirmed on social media that they’re currently filming the third movie in Greece.
She posted a video on Instagram explaining their location and had the chance to thank the production companies.
The first film was a huge success when it was released in 2002.
It followed Vardalo’s character Toula Portokalos, who works and lives with her loving, but large, overbearing greek family.
When she gets engaged to a school teacher, played by John Corbett, she has to try to navigate the spectacle of the wedding.
The follow-up film was released in 2016 and followed her journey of raising a teenage daughter.
Nothing else is known about the script except that in this film, Toula and her husband are NOT grandparents.
