Police have identified the deceased as 77-year-old Lawrence Tomblin of Gravenhurst.
According to OPP, the investigation is ongoing.
The roadway was closed to traffic but has been reopened.

OPP are investigating a fatal, two-vehicle collision that occurred in Bracebridge on Monday afternoon.
Officers say the incident happened at 1:40 p.m. on Winhara Road at Ecclestone Drive.
According to a release by police, one person was transported to hospital but life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team, and the area will be closed to traffic.
