Bracebridge OPP investigating fatal early-morning collision

Bracebridge OPP are investigating a head-on collision that occurred Saturday morning in Bracebridge, resulting in the death of a passenger.

At 1:30 a.m., officers, paramedics and fire services responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision involving passenger vehicles on Fraserburg Road.

The incident resulted in a 22-year-old male passenger from Brantford being pronounced deceased, while the two drivers and the other passenger were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

OPP Technical Collision Investigation and Reconstruction teams are assisting with the ongoing investigation.

Fraserburg Road between McKay Trail and Old Cottage Road will remain closed for several hours while emergency crews and investigators are on scene.
