Fatal motorcycle collision in Oro-Medonte leaves one dead

Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a two-vehicle collision Monday in Oro-Medonte that left one man dead.

Just before 1:30 p.m. Monday, Orillia OPP, Simcoe County paramedics, and Oro-Medonte firefighters responded to a report of a motorcycle that struck two vehicles on Lakeshore Rd. East between Line 12 South and Little Rd.

The individual riding the motorcycle was brought to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was later identified as a 64-year-old male from Oro-Medonte.

The OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team attended the scene and are assisting with the investigation.
