Female driver charged with impaired after vehicle rolls onto its roof in Innisfil on Monday

The driver came away with minor injuries.

The scourge of impaired driving was on display at Sideroad 20 and Line 14 in Innisfil.

South Simcoe Police were called to a vehicle rollover around six Monday evening.

Officers were told a vehicle had been driving erratically, lost control and rolled over onto its roof in the ditch. A 26 year old female from Barrie escaped with just minor injuries and was arrested at the scene. She was taken to the police station where breath test results were over the legal limit.

The woman was charged with impaired and dangerous driving. Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for a week.
