A stretch of Old Barrie Road at Line 8 North in Oro-Medonte was closed for about four hours as Ontario Provincial Police investigated a two-vehicle collision, in which one occupant was injured and one of the vehicle's caught fire.
First responders were alerted about the crash around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police did not disclose the extent of injuries sustained by the individual who was taken to hospital.
A 20-year-old from Orillia was charged with careless driving.
