The dysfunctional Roy family is back for season four of "Succession."
HBO confirms filming's begun on the ten-episode season, which will see the return of the whole Waystar/ Royco Team.
Season three ended in December 2021 when the Roy children had the rug pulled out from under them by their dad, Logan Roy, and husband/brother-in-law, Tom Wambsgans.
Variety reports that the synopsis of the latest season reads:
"The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed."
Since it premiered in 2018, the Emmy-winning drama has grown consistently in viewership.
The Season three premiere in 2021 was up 39% over the series premiere episode.
No premiere date for season four has been announced yet.
