
A fire on the third floor of an apartment complex in Penetanguishene is being investigated as suspicious, according to provincial police.
Fire crews responded to the blaze on Poyntz Street around 7 a.m. Monday.
As firefighters extinguished the blaze, police assisted in evacuating the residents.
There was extensive damage to one apartment. All residents, with the exception of those from the affected unit, have since returned to their homes.
The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
