Fire at an Angus Street home in Alcona on Saturday afternoon
A cat, wet and scared, was found in the basement
Innisfil fire crews battled a blaze at a home on Angus Street in Alcona, in the area of Wesley and Booth.
There were no injuries. Everyone got out safely.
A cat was located in the basement, wet and scared.
It was given oxygen and looked after by firefighters and Simcoe County paramedics.
Damage to the home is pegged at $700,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
