Barrie Fire Service is investigating the cause of a blaze that destroyed an abandoned home on Lockhart Road near Huronia Road.
A fire official tells Barrie 360 that crews responded to the area around 1:40 a.m. on Friday. When they got the scene, the structure was engulfed in flames.
The official confirmed the Ontario Fire Marshal will not be attending.
