Fire at encampment in Barrie, 2 people treated by paramedics

The cause of the fire is under investigation

A pop-up trailer at an encampment in Barrie was gutted by fire.

First responders were called out shortly after eight Thursday morning to the area of John Street and Lorena Street.

They were treated on scene by paramedics but did not require a trip to the hospital.

Fire officials say the cause of the blaze will be listed as undetermined.
