Firefighters battled a blaze at two homes in Severn Township.

Fire chief Tim Cranney says at one point there were 25 of his crew on scene at the mobile park home on JV Parkway off Carlyon Line.

The fire broke out around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Cranney says the fire started in one home and jumped to a neighbouring residence.

The occupants of both homes got out safely.

The cause of the fire and the damage total is not available.

The Ontario Fire Marshal was notified but will not be attending the scene.
