A woman taken to hospital after an apartment fire Tuesday night in Bradford has succumbed to her injuries.
Firefighters were called just after 8 o’clock to a building on Centre Street, with reports of a fire in a ground floor apartment. A 72-year-old woman was located inside the unit, and was rushed to local hospital in critical condition. She was airlifted to Toronto trauma centre where South Simcoe Police confirm she died of her injuries.

Cause of the fire and an estimate of damage are yet to be determined, while investigators say it is not being considered suspicious.
