Five charged, drugs worth over $20,000 seized by OPP in Alliston

Officers say they also seized various weapons

Provincial police seized drugs with a street value of over $20,000 and charged five people after a drug and weapons investigation in Alliston.

Nottawasaga OPP say the investigation started back in the fall of 2022, and warrants were executed at three different Alliston addresses between Jan. 23 and 27th, 2023.

As a result, police seized cocaine, methamphetamine, and oxycodone, as well as over five thousand dollars in currency. Officers say they also seized various weapons, including an improvised incendiary device and three replica handguns. 

Four adult males and one adult female, all from the New Tecumseth area, face several drug trafficking, weapons, and bail violation charges.
