Float plane crashes into Lake St. John in Ramara

Operator charged with impaired after vessel hits floating dock in Muskoka

Provincial police are heaping praise on some residents who came to the aid of three people after a float plane crashed into the northern part of Lake St. John in Ramara around the noon hour on Friday.

There were no injures, and police say the plane was towed to a water access airport.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
