Four men have been charged, and arrest warrants have been issued for two others, in connection with a $300,000 jewelry robbery at the 400 Flea Market in Innisfil.
South Simcoe Police say a vendor was robbed in the parking lot around 9:15 a.m. on May 3.
Investigators say six suspects arrived in a van and stole approximately $300,000 worth of jewelery.
Police later located the suspect vehicle, a 2008 blue Toyota Sienna, and recovered some of the stolen property.
After an investigation by the South Simcoe Police Crimes Against Persons Unit, with help from the Toronto Police Service Hold Up Squad, all six suspects were identified.
Four men, aged 34, 36, 40 and 50, all of no fixed address, have been charged with robbery, disguise with intent, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking over $5,000, and trafficking in property obtained by crime.
Two of the accused also face two counts each of failing to comply with a judicial release order.
