Cops say Wasaga Beach man blew four times the legal limit

Driver's vehicle impounded for a week, license suspended for 90 days

A Wasaga Beach man is awaiting his day in court after cops say he had over four times the legal limit of booze in his system.

The Huronia West OPP responded to a traffic complaint at about 4 p.m. Tuesday, after being told a vehicle was driving erratically in the area of Horseshoe Valley Road and Highway 26. Officers tracked down the vehicle and arrested the driver.

A 49-year-old man has been charged with driving while impaired and dangerous driving. His license was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
