The world of Mad Max hits the desert wasteland road again in a trailer for "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga."

Anya Taylor-Joy stars as Furiosa in the prequel to 2015's "Mad Max: Fury Road."

It follows a young Furiosa after she is kidnapped from her home, "Green Place of Many Mothers" by the warlord Dementus played by Chris Hemsworth.

The 2015 film starred Charlize Theron as a war captain, Imperator Furiosa, who becomes allies with Max.

Theron garnered great praise for the role, and fans are stoked to see the character back, to learn more of her story.

The trailer is filled with everything you expect from a Mad Max film including dessert, massive car chases, and a lot of violence.

It comes out May 24, 2024. Catch the trailer below.
