Bracebridge OPP investigating back-to-back thefts at Gravenhurst retailer

GRAVENHURST, Ont.Two thefts at a local retailer is prompting an investigation by Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Thursday evening, Bracebridge OPP officers responded to a theft on Edward Street in Gravenhurst. Police released a picture of the suspect and, with the assistance of the public, were able to establish an identity, resulting in a 33-year-old Gravenhurst woman being charged with theft Under $5000. She will appear in the Bracebridge court on June 17.

Shortly after, officers responded to a second theft from the same retailer on Edward Street. Two individuals fled the scene and have not yet been identified.

Police are asking members of the public to have a look at the attached photos and call 1-888-310-1122 with any information.
