South Simcoe Police investigating after a fail to remain collision in Bradford in which 400 feet of guardrail was damaged.

Around 2:20 Friday morning, police responded to Canal Road between Tornado Drive and Line 5, where they found a white, Ford F-150 pickup truck.

A search for a driver or any passengers turned up nothing.

Investigators have determined the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed on Canal Road, failed to make a turn, and drove into the guardrail.

A section of Canal Road had to be closed so repairs could be made to the guardrail.

The road has since been reoepened.

Anyone with information or dash camera footage that can assist the investigation is asked to contact the South Simcoe Police Service at 905-775-3311, 705-436-2141, or contact Crime Stoppers.
