Handful Of Charges Laid As Police Continue Festive RIDE Checks
Seven Charges out of over 900 Vehicles Stopped
T’is the season for festive RIDE spot checks.
South Simcoe Police just kicked off this holiday tradition, and have a snap shot for last night’s spot checks: 936 vehicles were stopped while one man, a 24-year-old from Bradford, was charged with drunk driving. A dangerous driving charge was laid against a Waterloo driver, with a pair of three day suspensions, and three charges of having cannabis too close to the driver too.
The South Simcoe Police say the names of everyone charged with drunk driving will be published on its website every Monday.
