HBO Max went shopping and is getting a makeover.

A 'Harry Potter' show, another 'Game of Thrones' prequel, and another 'Big Bang Theory ' spinoff lay ahead for the platform's future.

First, plans are now official for a Harry Potter series, with one season dedicated to each book. Creator J.K. Rowling will produce, and it will feature an entirely different cast from the movies.

And George R.R Martin is back to making another 'Game of Thrones' series.

This one is based on the Dunk & Egg series and will be called 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight'

The official summary reads :

A century before the events of 'Game of Thrones,' two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.

In addition to the new shows, HBO max, will be known simply as 'Max' starting May 23.
