Healthcare Front and Centre In Multi-Year Innisfil Budget

Budget Commits Funds to Health Centre Slated to Open Fully By Year-End

Innisfil Town Hall has given the green light to a two-year budget with an annual property tax bill increase hovering around a hundred bucks. But paying the tax bill may contribute to your overall health.

The 2019-2020 budget comes with a tax increase of 2.32 per cent for this year, balancing out to about a $98 increase on the 2019 property tax increase for the average Innisfil home; in 2020, the increase is 2.6%, or $112.

Mayor Lynn Dollin says the budget will make for a healthier Innisfil “This budget will see us making an exciting and important investment in creating more local employment opportunities, keeping our community safe and bringing health care closer to home.” Money in this year’s budget has been earmarked for the Rizzardo Health & Wellness Centre, expected to fully open its doors before the end of this year.
