The Women and Children's Shelter of Barrie is once again hosting its Walk A Mile event where you can exercise, get some fresh air, and help take a stand against gendered violence.

Walk a Mile is encouraging everyone to raise funds, donate, and join the walk dressed as your favourite superhero, wearing a cape or mask, or just coming as you are! You can register for the event by scanning the QR code below and help them reach the $50,000 goal.

Fundraising will take place all month long, but the final walk is on September 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mapleview Community Church.
