One person was transported to hospital with what Ontario Provincial Police said were minor injuries after a wheel came loose and caused a collision on Highway 400 northbound at Simcoe Road 89 in Bradford on Monday afternoon.

Police say the wheel came loose and struck a vehicle, causing that vehicle to strike another.

The left and middle lanes were briefly closed.

OPP say a 25-year-old Mississauga man is charged with operating an unsafe vehicle, using an unauthorized plate, having a part detach and not having insurance.
