Driver seriously injured following single-vehicle crash on HWY 400 in Georgian Bay Township

Southbound traffic is being detoured on Muskoka Road 38

Bracebridge OPP are investigating a serious single-vehicle collision that happened on Highway 400 in Georgian Bay Township on Tuesday morning.

Officers say the crash happened in the southbound lanes near South Gibson Lake Road, they attended the scene around 8:30 a.m.

According to police, the collision involved a single vehicle that left the roadway. The single occupant was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Highway 400 southbound remains closed while OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) members investigate.  

Southbound traffic is currently being detoured on Muskoka Road 38.
