(Updated) YRP officer injured in Hwy 400 crash, northbound lanes closed at County Road 88: OPP

Off-duty police officer injured in Highway 400 crash, northbound lanes closed at County Road 88

A York Regional Police officer was transported to the hospital with serious injuries following a three-vehicle collision on Highway 400 in Bradford.

Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to the collision just north of County Road 88 involving a transport truck and SUVs around 3:45 Tuesday morning.

A second person sustained minor injuries.

There are reports the injured officer was off-duty at the time.

Police have not said when the northbound lanes will be reopened.
