Barrie fire crews made quick work of flames that erupted at an Edgehill Drive home in Barrie on Wednesday night.
Several people in the residence got out safely.
There was not extensive damage, according to fire officials.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
Damages are unavailable.
Once the scene was mopped up, officials say the residence was turned back to the homeowner.
