
Provincial police are investigating a motorcycle crash in Huntsville on Friday that resulted in the rider suffering life-threatening injuries.
OPP were dispatched at 5:30 p.m. to the reported single-vehicle collision on Brunel Road, near Hillcrest Drive along with other emergency responders.
The rider, a 57-year-old man from Waterloo, was brought to a local hospital before being transferred to a Toronto-area trauma centre for further treatment, according to police.
A section of Brunel Road was fully closed in both directions for several hours while the OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) team assisted with the investigation. It has since reopened.
