Six charges came to nautical operators for falling short of the required 1:1 lifejacket to occupant ratio.

Meanwhile, the impaired driving charges continued on the roads with 10 drivers facing license suspension for operating under the influence.

In terms of speeding, that was quite common in the area too in this time frame as 66 speeding charges were handed out by officers. Three more went out to stunt drivers leading to vehicle impoundment.

Huntsville OPP are reminding boaters that a properly fitted PFD (personal flotation device) is required for every individual on board.

Drivers are also being reminded to understand the effect impaired driving has on the community and to make the right decisions before getting behind the wheel.
